Ultimate Spring Break Experience
Lisbon, Portugal | March 15-21, 2026
A Unique Spring Break
This isn’t just a trip—it’s a hands-on, immersive experience designed especially for rising Westwood high school students. Over the course of seven days, you’ll explore the rich culture, history, and daily life of Portugal’s capital city, connecting what you’ve learned in school with the real world around you.
You’ll discover Lisbon’s vibrant neighborhoods, meet local artists and artisans, and gain a deeper understanding of life in another part of the world. Whether you're tasting traditional pastries in a tucked-away café or navigating the city’s iconic trams, each moment is an opportunity to learn, grow, and see the world from a new perspective.
What makes this trip so unique is the way it blends exploration with reflection. It’s designed not just to show you a new place, but to help you think differently about your place in the world.
This isn’t just Spring Break.
It’s the beginning of a bigger story—yours.

Why Lisbon?
Lisbon is one of Europe’s most captivating cities—colorful, historic, and full of life. As one of the oldest cities in the world (even older than Rome!), it’s a place where ancient castles meet street art, and old-world charm blends with modern energy. From its iconic yellow trams to hilltop views of the Atlantic, Lisbon offers an unforgettable setting for exploration, curiosity, and growth.
A Balance of Discovery and Downtime
This experience is thoughtfully designed to offer the best of both worlds: guided cultural adventures and time to explore on your own. Mornings might include visiting local markets, historic landmarks, or hidden neighborhoods with our group, while afternoons leave space for relaxing, journaling, or grabbing gelato with new friends. Every day in Lisbon invites you to learn something new—about the world, and about yourself.
Balance of Learning and Leisure
This experience is designed to spark curiosity and create space for connection, reflection, and fun. Each day features guided tours led by local experts who bring Lisbon’s rich history and culture to life—from ancient castles and cobblestone alleys to vibrant street art and seaside vistas. But it’s not all structured.
There’s plenty of free time built in so you can explore on your own terms—whether that means grabbing a pastry with friends, shopping for souvenirs, taking photos around every corner, or just soaking in the atmosphere.
It’s your journey—make it meaningful.
